About Wix
Wix solved the hardest problem in this market. One product serves total beginners and demanding users alike. The drag-anywhere editor remains the most forgiving way to build a real site, the AI chatbot builder generates a personalized draft from a short conversation, and the app market bolts on anything from bookings to restaurant menus. Plans run from Light at around $17 a month to Core at $29 for sites that sell. Now the honest notes. Generated and template sites can score middling on page speed, you cannot export your site if you leave, and the upgrade prompts never rest. Still the default recommendation for "I just want a good website".
